The Minister of Sweden, Mr. Bbs trom, will return this afternoon from w York where he went to meet Prince Willlam of Sweden on his ar- rival, abroad the France yesterday. Prince William has come to this coun 1ry to lecture and is not expected to come to Washington this month. Washington Assembly Calling Washington Assembly The Washington assembly ball will be given tonight in the ballroom of the Mayflower Hotel at 10 o'clock, the {lroma to aid the George Washington Memorial Fund, of which Mrs. Henry ¥. Dimock is president. This evening was chosen as the anniversary of the marriage of the widow Martha Custis to Gen. George Washington. The company will for the most part be in costume, many of them dressed to represent an ancestor, the gowns in some cases having been worn at im- portant functions of the past. A group of men and women prom- inent in Washington soclety will dance the minuet immediately following a tableau which will be & reproduction of the Washington-Custis wedding ceremony. Mr. Walter D. Davidge will appear as Gen. Washington, but the identity of the widow Custis has not been announced. Rumor has it that Mrs. Walter R. Tuckerman will take that part. A supper will be served at small tables in the dining Toom after the “wedding ceremony.” Mrs. Henry F. Dimock, who is chairman of the ball committee, will receive and will be assisted by Mre. Claude A. Swanson, Mrs.- Walter R. Tuckerman and Mme. Ekengren. Mrs, Tuckerman will have charge of the tableau and minuet. Senator Joseph T. Robinson h: been joined by Mrs, Robinson, R:fi they are again in their apartment at 100 Maryland avenue northeast for the Winter. Mrs. Robinson returned to Washington by motor and was ac- companied by her mother, Mrs. S. E Miller, who is now their guest. _ Representativ nd Mrs. E.
