Tn fact. that might well be said of the entre country. although in some faolated instances lists of contests for next year are complete. As far as &chools here are concerned, the big zames during the past season prob- ably will be the big games of the next, although each institution is Iikely to have two or three new oppo- nents. Gaorgetown again will have its big- Eest games with West Virginia and Syracuse. The former is to be played In Washington on October and ngain s 1o be used as home.coming day; the latter will be met at Syra cuse, but on October 15 instead of the first Saturday in November. This is about as far as public announcement of the Georgelown schedule has gone. Maryland List Complete. Maryland has completed its sched- ule, but is not vet ready to announce it because of a that it is trying to effect in order to give it another big home gawme. Right now South Caro- lina and Washington and Lee are the only schools scheduled to play at Col- lege Park, and another game of that caliber is desired. George Washington versity and Gallaudet are busy with their Jists for next year, but have not progressed far enough to make announcements of their contests, It i3 expected, though, that all will have 1wo or three games with strong teams and round out their schedules with others not so strong. Rreaks in relationships between moma of the hig schools have caused new opponents to be sought. Har- vard has Pennsylvania to take Prince- ton’s place, and Princeton has sched- uled Cornell in place of Harvard. Army and Syracuse will not play their game, and Navy is mot to meet Georgetown. Navy already has an- nounced that it and Princeton will not meet, but that Pennsylvania will be on its schedule. 01d Liners to Travel. Also some new alliances may be oreated in Southern foot ball. One rather surprising attitude in Chicago following the game was one of gencral satisfiction that the game seems that all bound to treat as v and Army and that neither returned defeated was the hest Chicago apparently felt that if either had won, the defeated team might have thought it some breach in the perfect hospitality that was ended in a tie. PHILADELPHIA, November 29.— Charley Rogers, bridegroom and star halfback of the University of Pennsyl- vania, has organized a professional team of his own. ‘While he has signed only one man, he says his team will include out- standing pigskin hustlers of several well known college teams when it faces the somewhat-battered New York Yankees, headed by Red Grange, next Saturday in Gotham. McGrath of Georgetown and Singer of Penn are to be the ends, Rogers says; Sieracki, Penn, and Con- naughton, Georgetown, tackles; Sn: der and Pike, Penn, guards; Butler, Penn, at center, and Laird, Penn, quarterback. Rogers has approached @ number of other players. The battle with the New York Yankees will be a crash of twin stars, Wheaton Ice Heaver against the Comet of Camden. Like Grange, Rogers {s a master of open fleld run- ning. “I'm through at the university, both in foot ball and track, and T see no harm,"” Rogers says of his venture. “I need to make some money.” Presumably Rogers will complete HOLLINGBERRY IS SIGNED. ?Xcs; rl'miverslty course, now in its last (‘;\;POI\'A.\'E. ‘Wash., November 29 tract as head foot ball Washington State College by Orin E.
