THE EVENING NEAR EAST APPEAL WILL BE MADE HERE Bundle Day Planned for Children, With Fund Drive Among Adults. The appeal for clothing and money for the suffering survivors of the earthquake in Armenia is to be ex- tended to the churches and people generally here, it was decided yester- day at an interdenominational meet- ing of Washington clergy at the City Club. The Near East relfef is to con- duct & Bundle-day drive on November 10, and it was.voted to use this me- dium for broadcasting the appeal and collecting the returns. Bundle day was started originally as a means of giving the school chil- dren of Washington an opportunity to help the little orphans of Armenia. The appeal to the adult population, however, will include request for money as well as clothing. Those who have no old but wearable gar- ments to spare will be asked to con- tribute as much money as they can. All of the city’s fire engine houses will be receiving stations for bundles on November 10. In addition, those churches displaying Bundle-day ban- ners will be open to receive packages. Those in charge reiterated that in no instance are bundles to be taken to any of the schools. Dr. W. L. Darby, Cafe and Restaurant Deviled and Imperial Crabs, Lobsters, Steaks, Chicken, Etc.
