WCORMICK RANCH | NEATNESS MODEL __fsénator"s Widow Conducts Farm, With Pure Milk as Specially. * By the Associated Press. CHICAGO, October 15.—Entering the wooded confines of the Rock River, 100 miles to the west and north rof Chicago, travelers on the Black- !hawk Trail may see, nestled in the scool green of the valley, glistening ‘white buildings grouped cozily in a ‘hend of the stream. A low white fence incloses the buildings, a house on the bluff, and some 2,200 acres, over which grazes lazily a large herd of cattle. The widow of Senator Medill Mc- Cormick and daughter of the late Mark Hanna, political power, man- ages this establishment, near the town of Byron, giving her time and effort for one purpose—to provide pure milk for infants and invalids.
