A letter has been received by Mussolini from Dr. Rolf Thommessen, president of the Aeéro Club of Norw: commenting on the Amundsén-Ells- worth-Nobilé transpolar flight and thanking the Italian government for its part in the undertaking. “It may conscientiously beafirmed." ®ays Dr. Thommessén, “that had it not beén for the ekill and experience lent by the Italian government to the expedition and for the génerous sup. port given, realization of the plan would have been impossible. The capability 6f Gén.
