This molding | or trim, as it is called, i5 of a special | design made ticularly for I_ | home. The papers on the hall, living | room and dining room are reproduc tions of papers used in homes in New England before the Revolutionary | days. g The light'ng fixtures carry out this | same color al idea. Beca e of the setting of | this house on a curner lot and directly opposite a small public park formed | by the juncture of three streets at| this point, this outlook is unusual. Hall Truly Colonial. The hall and the stairway follows a true colonial design. The stairwa of the true colonial type, with the ma- hogany hand nd white balusters. The hallway runs entirely through the house and has a colonial doorway at the back of the house, which leads | out on to a formal garden. Inciden-| tally, the center of interest of this for- | mal garden is a large flint rock which was found on the property when ex- cavations were made. It has been so arranged as to harmonize with the treatment of the garden. The view from the back of the house is delight- ful, as, because of the high eiévation, it looks down upon the wooded hills of Rock Creek Park. As one enters the kitchen from the hallway the comforts that make the modern home different from the old colonial homes are at once seen. The large double drainboard sink contains an automatic dishwasher, which elimi- nates much of the drudgery of house keeping; an ironing board is conven- fently located in a wall closet, and nearby is an electric plug attachment for the electric iron. Also in the kitchen is the white enamel gas range and attractive blue and white kitchen dresser. The fuse box is also conveniently located on one of the walls of the kitchen, where it can be easily gotten at and where trouble with the electric fuses can be located readily and eas. fly. This is a great improvement over the old method of having to go to a dark corner of the cellar and search for the blown-out fuse in a box on the cellar ceiling. The kitchen walls are tastefully decorated in white and blue. On either side of the kitchen sink are cabinets, where china, pots, pans or silverware may be conveniently kept. Linoleum covers the kitchen floor. Blue and Cream Breakfast Room. Just off the kitchen is the breakfast alcove, tastefully decorated in blue and cream, with 1ts colonial-back seats; also one finds here the conven- fence of a large clo: where brooms, ete., can be put away. At the back of the kitchen is a pantry, with an electric refrigerator and its shelving for supplies, dishes, etc. The dining room is entered from the kitchen by the usual swinging door. The rear door leads to the base- ment, which contains the heating plant, the laundry tubs, storage closet, ser s 1z and built-in garage —_— x| = 3822-3824 Veazey St. North Cleveland Park cast of Wisconsin from the Ca- w semi-detactied e prope convince you that quality, work- manship and design are outstand- g featu Price, $15,500 Open All Day Sunday Salesman on Premises H.
