Isaac Gans, finance chairman of the committee, has urged that contributions be sent to him, at Saks & Company, for the rest of the fund as early as possible. ‘The program of celebration includes two events, the first to be a patriotic band concert and pageant in front of the Capitol at 7:45 o'clock in the eve- ning. This will be followed by a big fireworks display on the Monument Grounds, beginning at 9:30 o’clock.
