C, January 29.— Caleb Ingram, employe of the city,and Mrs. Bonnle Ledford, who found the body of Mrs. Annie May Burgess, are being held in the county jail in con- nection with the murder. Thelr arrests bring the number of those held in the case up to three, William Davis hav- ing been held for some time. All are under technical arrest as suspects. Ingram was the man who first re- ported signs of the murder. Recently police learned that the fatal blow was probably struck with a bottle rather than an iron pipe, as was at first be- lieved, and they also learned that In- gram had escorted the Ledford wom- an home shortly before he reported finding blood on a street corner. The authorities sald his nervousness on being questioned after finding of the body aroused their suspicion.
