John Brosnan, jr., former president of the Provident Relief Association, has sold out his interest in the cor- poration to John C. Maginnis and J. N. Warfield, insurance men of Balti- more. This fact was made known to day when Maginnis and Warfleld, through Attorney Willlam Horgan, filed a petition in the District Su- preme Court asking that Charles S. Baker and W. Gwynn Gardiner, re cently appointetl by the court as man- agers of the insurance company, be discharged and directed to turn over the company’s assets to the proper officer of the corporation. The Provident Rellef Assoclation belonged to John Brosnan, sr., and, at his death was taken over by the son. Later the five daughters of the deceased - brought suit against their brother and the affairs of the com-| pany have been before the court for several years. A few months ago Brosnan was taken ill and the court reached the decision to take the management of the company out of his hands and to place it in the custody of Attorneys Baker and Gardiner.
