Lemon Cream Pie One cup sugar: 1% cups boiling water; 3 tablespoons corustarch: 3 tablespoons flour: 1 teaspoon salt: 2 ekes: grated rind of 1 lemon; 33 cup lemon Juice. Sift ary ingredients. Add water and cook in double boiler until thick (16 minutes). Add Wlightly beaten egg volks and cook (wo minutes longer, then add lemon juice and grated rind. Cool &ud turn into baked ple shell. Cover with meringue mude by beat ing _egg “whites until frothy—adding 4 tablespoons sugar and 1, teaspoon baking powder and continue beating until stiff.
