Tt's a game the stores play, too— this keeping always abreast of the styles, with the correct mode—just a little bit ahead of the other if possible. And sometimes the stores get what newspapers call a “scocop.” The Palais Royal has one I want to tell you about. Twice a r the Retail Millinery Associa- t of America holds a Fashion Show in New York. The origina- tors of the models shown are world famous style creators. Exact reproductions of these models are made and a few stores get a limited number. The Palais Royal suc- ceeded in securing just 18 models— every one a picture. Here is a copy of the hat from Bruck Weiss, New York. That name is one to conjure with and tells the whole story.
