WCAP has planned to broadcast as the outstanding feature of its pro- gram tomorrow night a concert by the New York Symphony Orchestra, directed for the first time by a wom- an—Ethel Leginska—who recently came to America from Europe. She will appear in the triple capacity with the orchestra as conductor, composer and planist. Ethel Leginska is one of the world's greatest woman planists, and in the past three or four months has created quite @ sensation in the important musical centers of Europe by conduot- ing a full symphony orchestra. In her American_debut this this evening at Carnegie Hall she will wield the baton over the full complement of the world famous New York Symphony. Only last October she caused a sen- sation by directing the augmented Konzertvereins Orchestra in Munich, Germany; the Conservatoire Orchestra in Paris and in November conducted the London Symphony Orchestra in London and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in Berlin, winning the plaudits of not only the best musical crities in Europe, but of each of her audience Broadcasting of this notable event in American musical circles will be- gin at 8:30 p.m. eastern standard time, and will continue until the end of the concert. The program is as follows Overture “Oberon” (Weber): “Symphony N in A Major” (Beethoven); “Concerto in F Minor” (Bach), for piano and orches- tra, with Ethel Leginska as soloist Two short poems for orchestra after “Tagore” (Leginska), and, as a finale, the overture to “Die Meistersinger” (Wagner). Where only one hole is used to mount an instrument the hole for that {nstrument. is designated by the number of the part as used in the parts layout. Where two or more holes are employed for the mounting instrument a combination of the in- strument with a letter subdivision is employed to designate each hole, as, for instance, 3A, 3B, 3C, etc. The layout shows the rear of the panel, all holes being located and drilled from the rear of the panel so as to eliminate any unsightly lines and marking on the front of the panel. All measurements are taken from two reference edges, KL and LM, to eliminate any possibility of errors in measurements. The first measurement is taken from edge KL, while the second measure- ment is taken from edge LM. Hole 1—% and 4%. Hole 2—% and 3%. Hole 3A—4% and 4. Hole 3B—O and 4. Hole 3C—3% and 4. Before drilling a hole be sure that you have the propér hole and have not mistaken it for another. It is always safe policy to drill the small- est holes first, so that if you drill a hole with the wrong drill by mistake it will be a simple matter to redrill it with a larger drill.
