ESCAPES FROM PRISON Convicted Slayer Overpowers Guard—1Is Recaptured at His Home, By the Associated Press. LEBANON, Pa., December 16.—Four~ teen hours after overpowering a guard in Lebanon County jail and es- caping, William J. Bishop, convicted slayer of Enos Robb of Paimyra, was captured last night by State police at the home of his wife at Hershey. “I wanted to see my wife and chil- dren before Christmas,” Bishop told State troopers on the way back to the jail, adding that he had intended to_return to prison voluntarily. Bishop, who was awaiting the out- come of a motion for new trial, sald he had been unalded in his escape.
