C. EARTHQUAKE IN WALES. Shock Follows Rumbling Under Mountains. LONDON, December 15.—A small but _sherp earthquake frightened the residents of Corwen (Wales) - and vicinity vesterday afternoon, accord- ing to dispatches to London news- papers. Dozens of windows were broken, crockery danced on the shelves and furniture was shifted about. The shock was accompanied by rumblings which seemed to come from beneath the nearby Berwyn Mountains. Y., December 15.— Four boys were drowned when the ice covering a lake on which they were sliding gave way vesterday. The boys were Willlam Riley, 12; his brother, Anthony, 9; Thomas Min- nerly, 18, and Willlam Hauck, 12, all of this city.
