Expenditures of the La Follette- Wheeler campalgn committee to De- cember 2 as reported yesterday to the clerk of the House, fotaled $221,- 077 and receipts amounted to § H 936.50. W. T. Rawleigh, treasurer of the committee and heaviest contributor, said in flling the report that receipts after October 30 were $27,853.05, and expenditures, $40,446.40. Previous re- ports from the committee showed that before October 30 recelpts amounted to $198,083.45 and expendi- tures, $181,531.18. They did not in- dicate whether the committee on De- cember 2 had any debts. Rawleigh, a Freeport, 111, merchant, was shown to have contributed | $44,000. The only contributor, of more than $1,000 besides him iisted in the final report, was Mrs. Dorothy Whit- | ney Straight of New York, who gave $2,500. i A report filed by the Steuben na- tional campaign committee showed that it had veceived $24,259.13 and had expended $21,331.62 in support of the La Follette-Wheeler ticket.
