GRANT IMPROVED, LEAVES HOSPITAL Rector Ready to Go to Work. Is “Badly in Need of Money,” He Says. By the Associated Press. KATONAH, N. Y., November 28— The Rev. Percy Stickney Grant, for- mer rector of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, who has been un- dergoing treatment for an aggravat- ed form of anaemia in a New York hospltal, has returned to his home here with the announcement that he is “feeling first rate.” “I am going to turn my hand to “vhatever will bring in money,” he uud, in laughingly disclaiming that e intended to concentrate solely on literary work. “I am badly in need of money. I am going to get into something, but just what it will be I can't say at the moment. Still Feels Tired. “I've just got home, as you can (see, and it feels good, too. They had ine down in the hospital and they found out what ailed me. I am feel- ing first rate now, but, of course, a trifie tired. Apparently they really discovered my trouble, and I am now on the up-grade. “I'll probably have to fight hard to make enough money, but I shall fight with my spirit—whatever my body may be, my spirit is not sick.” Dr. Grant's discharge from the hospital was decided on suddenly yes- terday by Dr. Lewis Conner, his per- sonal physician, when it was learned that the clergyman was finding diffi- culty in accustoming himself to his surroundings, with resulting loss of sleep. As sleep and complete rest and quiet are essential to recovery, Dr. Conner determined that return to his home in Katonah would serve his patient's best interests. Greek Crew Mutinies.
