The Gorsuch Methodist Episcopal Church, 4% and_L streets southwest, will celebrate Children's day tomor: row evening with a pageant entitied “Gateways of the Bible.,” at 7:30 p.m. There will also be recitations and songs by the members of the Sunday school and the primary departments. E M. Thompson to Have Ordination Observance There Tomorrow. The twenty-fifth anniversary of the ordination to the priesthood of the Episcopal Church of Rev. Enoch M. Thompson, vicar of Nativity Chapel, 14th and A streets southeast, will be celebrated tomorrow. Rev. Mr. Thompson is a native of Galthersburg, Md. He was graduated trom the General Theological Sem- inary, New York, in 1398, and was ordained a deacon and in 1899 a priest by Bishop Satterlee, first Bishop of Washington. His first ministerial duty was as curate in St Paul's Church, on 23d street, where he remained eight vears. He also served as an assistant in Ascension Church here while that church was Bishop Satterlee’s pro - cathedral. While serving at both of these churches he also was conducting for the bishop a mission in Southeast Washington, which now i3 the Chapel of the Nativity. The anniversary of the ordination of tho clergyman will be commem- orated at the services at Nativity Chapel tomorrow.
