PARKS Never have gloves been so fau:x'nah'nga’.thu pring. Perhaps the French Cuff Gloves have been the most popular, and new ones are arriving daily. Many of the straight-cu gloves have vivid colored silk lin- ings. Those sketched may be had in either suede or kid, embro_ld- ered backs, with a stitched design on the cuffs, combined with steel beads. In Tan and Brown. And now one may purchase the most adorable pajama suits and nightgowns in glove silk, also dainty little Teddys. A lovely gown is in orchid, em- broidered in blue, with a camisole top. Another in maize and green, combined with orchid pipings. Then, there is a model a_ll pink, with a yoke of alternating lace insertion and silk, and lace edg- ings with ribbon rosettes. They are truly lovely, all of them. Here is a new conceit in per- fume, in an unus- ual glass container in the shape of a Buddah seated in a black satin tem- ple lined with red. The new thin compacts are like thin watches; they take up so very little room and may be carried in almost any bag or purse. The one sketched is a double compact which comes in a blue and gold safin box. They make ideal gifts. The newest trimming for dance frocks and evening dresses is Ostrich in all the new spring shades to match the gown, or per- haps a contrast. In canary, pi flesh, rose, orange and black. The cut marabou bands are new arrivals, and may be had in pink, blue, white, tan and black. There seems to be no end to the lovely new colors in hose, or attrac- tive designs in clocks.
