Furnishing The Small Apartment We went to see them last night —they are living in a small apartment, but such an alto- gether charming place. Every- thing —rugs, draperies, furni- ture, pictures—seemed to have been carefully chosen with an eye to harmonious color scheme, as well as to everyday, practical use. As We Entered the Hall A console table of good length, over which hung a lovely mirror framed in mahogany—and a comiortable, tapestry- covered hall chair, made a most attractive group— Combination Mahogany Console Table, $35 Mahogany-Framed Console Mirror, $30 Tapestry-covered Hall Chair, $45 : Then Into the Cheerful Living Room —which, by the way, also serves as the dining room—and indeed, we might have been very comiortably provided for if we had stayed over-night, for they had a handsome davenport, that opened into a comfortable double bed. It was a real living room—to be really lived in. A Martha Washingion sewing cabinet and a low, rush-bottom rocker suggested comfortable leisure hours for ever-necessary mending—and, to complete the old-fashioned picture, colorful rag rugs.
