PORTO RICO’S HARDING FUND TO REACH $10,000 Towner and Deltoro Cable Coolidge Entire Population Is Rep- resented. By the Aswociated Press. SAN JUAN, P. R, December 21.— Reporting on the observance of Harding memorial week in Porto Rico, Gov. Towner and Chief Justice Deltoro cabled President Coolidge that the total subscriptions to the memorial fund would probably reach $10,000. This, the message said, “repre- gents the pennles of 200,000 children, the offerings of churches, lodges, school teachers, laborers, government em- ployes and citizens generally and, with the public demonstrations, rep- resents the tribute that Porto Rico rendars to the memory of the Chief Magistrate of the nation, who died in active service.” PLANS FOR BIG DANCE| AS Y.
