Assembly Returns. Maryland also elected members of the general assembly, but up to this forenoon only a few of the counties had reported. The democrats were claiming, however, that indications pointed to a democratic majority in both houses. In Baltimore they claimed five of the six legislative dis- tricts, conceding that the fourth di trict may go republican. This dis- trict contains a large negro vote, and an outstanding feature of the repub- lcan rally in the fourth was the probability that three negro candi- dates on the ticket for the house of delegates had been elected. ARNOLD AND COMPANY Btroet Mal Zonite kills germs COLD is not a mere cold or “just a cold.” A cold is an infection. Most colds are highly contagious, and are caused by germs, or bacteria. It is difficult to dislodge these germs once they have become established. The time to kill them is at the start before they penetrate to the recesses of the throat and nasal cavity. Zonite provides a safer means of preventing oral, nasal and bronchial infection than has hitherto been available.. Usilike the old-fash. ioned germicides, it is neither poisonous nor burning in its nature. Unlike the old germi- cides it can beused freely on the sensitive linings of the throat and nasal cavity. Zonite repre- sents an entirely new principle in antiseptics. Zonite is not a poison. It is non-caustic and non.itritating. Furthermore, Zonite is actually 40 times as powerful in germ killing effective- ness as the strongest solution of carbolic or iodine or bichloride of mercury which can be safely applied to the human body. And com- pared to peroxide of hydrogen, Zonite is 75 At all good drug stores, in bottles, 50c and $1.00 Joseph M(V:Rey'nbldél Studebaker Satisfying Sixes, cars of| noteworthy quality and, .exceptional . performance “because of volume produc- tion are very moderately .priced.
