MOTHER WHO SAVED 3 CHILDRE NIN FIRE DIES Mrs. Fred C. Parker, heroine of the blaze that swept her home, 1168 H street, December 31, 1921, during No Cover Charge at Dinner. which she saved the lives of her thres children. with peril to herself, died yesterday at the District Tuberculosis Hospital. Her death is belleved to have been caused by the exposure she epdured during the rescue, Mrs. Parkei, aged twenty-nine' years, was born in Compton, Md. She was well educated and became weal- thy from a fortune she reeeived through inheritance. She spent most of this money in humanitarian con- trivutions. Later she lost much of her money through reverse During the influenza epidemic she gave much of her time in visiting and comfor ing the stricken victims of its rav- | ages.
