FIVARES LD * FORSHON WOLF Simple Services in Memory of Jurist, Diplomat, Scholar and Philanthropist. Solemn, simple ceremonies marked the funeral of Simon Wolf, the distinguished Jurist, diplomat, scholar, philanthropist, champlon of the Jewish race,” public spirited citizen and one of the-“grand old men” of Washington, who died at Atlantic City Monday. Services were held at the Eighth Street Temple of the Washington Hebrew Congregation this afternoon at 2 o'clock. . There were in attendahce delegations and representatives of all the clvic bodies of the city, representatives of the federal government and the local municipal government and of the bench, and a delegation from the Washington Bar Association. 2 | Orphan Asylum Delegation. A delegation from the Hebrew-Orphan Asylum of Atlanta, Ga._ the funds for Which were raised by Mr. Wolf, and who, as its president for twents-five years, directed its destinies, consisted of Messrs. Lionel, Weil and Margolus from the board of directors, sent specially to attend the funeral. A delegation from the Association of Oldest Inhabitants of the District of Columbla, of which Mr. Wolf had been a member for many vears, also attended, u badge of the | organization having been pinned upon the shroud of the dead assoclate.
