Chester, U. S. N, retired, died suddenly yes- terday at the family residence, 1736 K street northwest. She was se enty-five years old. The funera! was held from the home this afternoon at 1:36 o'clock. The interment was in Arlington national cemetery. Mrs. Chester was a native of Brooklyn, N. Y. She had long been a resident of Washington and active in social and civic interests of the city. She is sur- vived by her husband and two sons, Arthur T.® Chester, now in Turkey. and Colby M.
