The future success of the New Soclal Club was assured last night when the members gathered in the oak room of the Raleigh Hotel and were informed by Maurice Narcisen- feld, chairman of the membership committee, that 126 men have joined the organization in the few weeks since it was founded. Each of the original fifty charter members pledged themselves to ob- tain at least one more member, and they all kept thelr promises, M. Narcisenfeld sald. Joseph B. John Sullivan, seventy-nine yvears old, veteran of the civil and frontler wars with the Indians, died We nesday at the United States Soldiers' Home, His death was due to an attack of pleural pneumonfa. He had been a patient at the home hospital for the past eighteen months.
