APPOMATTOX, Va., December 11.— The body of the late Representative Henry D. Flood of the tenth Virginia district, which has been in a private vault in Washington for the last year, was interred yesterday in a mausoleum recently built on the lawn | at one side of the courthouse of Ap- Pomattox county. The body arrived here this morning {from Washington on a special train, {accompanied by a funeral party com- | posed of relatives and intimats friends of the dead representative. ‘The body was escorted to Liberty Baptist Church by Masons from forty different lodges. ~ Services were con- ducted by Rev. W Pippin, pastor of the Presbyterian Church here. State Senator S. L. Ferguson, United States Senator Claude A. Swanson and Gov. Trinkle paid tribute to Mr. ¥lood as a husband, friend and statesman. MRS. ANN WAHL, 83, DIES. Funeral This Afternoon, Rev. Dr. Buhrer to Officiate. Mrs. Ann Wahl, eighty-three years old, died Friday night at her home, 411 F street northwest. She was a native of Frankenburg, Germany, and came to this country in 1907, after the death of her husband, to join her chil- dren, who had made America their home prior to that time. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the fam- ily home, Rev. Dr. James Buhrer, pastor of the Reformed Church, 13th and Monroe streets northwest, offi- ciating. The interment was in Glen- Wood cemeters. irs.
