Two charges of housebreaking and one of joyriding were reported by the grand jury yesterday against Ber- who was taken into custody by the police after his companicn, Wilfred|guch and such a time. Michaud, was shot to death by police- men, when caught in an alleged at- tampt to rob the store of the Sani- ‘ary Ciracery Company, at 3058 Mount Pursart street early in July. The in- aicterents deal with the looting of the store where they were discovered and with the robbing of one of the stores of the Old Dutch Market. The Jjoy riding indictment refers to the al- leged taking of a car on the fatal night by Michaud and Casson, from in front of the Palace Theater. ~An-In@ictment charging an assault to kill was returned against Dora Vaincent and Lena Fortune, both colored. It is claimed the women threw gasoline over the clothing of James O.
