The son opposed the claim of Mrs. McDonald and asserted that the articles were left to him in the will of his father. The son asserted, that the bill of sale was not authentic, and offered the testimony of handwriting experts in opposition to the evidence of sim- ilar experts testifying for Mrs. Mec- Donald that the signature was gen- uine. In charging the jury last Sat- urday, Justice Hitz told them that the sole question to ve decided was the genuineness of the signature. 1t the jury was satisfled from the evi- dence that the signature was genuine the verdict had to be for the widow and if not so satisfled then they must find for the son. The son was represented by At- torneys Faust and Wilson of Wash- ington and Judge M. Allison of Tennesses. Attorneys M. D. Rosen- berg and C. L.
