Thé rain this morn- ing caused a number of veterans to change their plans and they started for homeé on the forénoon trains. ‘The reunion committes officially called oft the veterans' parade sched- uled for 10 o’clock on account of rain. ‘The other social features of the occa- slon will be cut as scheduled. For this afternoon a reception is announced by the women's clubs in honor of Mrs. Arthur McDermott Wii- son, president of the Memorial Asso- ciation; a buget supper to véterans at 6 o'clock, and a boat ride on the én- nessee river for veterans. The final event of the reunion will be the grand ball to Sons of Confederate Veterans and official ladles given by thev.yamth-n W. Bachman Camp, 8. C. V. Following the election of Gen. Julian §.
