SQUAD kins-5th Regiment indoor track and ficld games to be held in WASHINGTON will be well represented in the annual Johns Hop- Baltimore tomorrow night. Georgetown and Catholic Univer- sity have entered large squads that will strive for honors in the South Atlantic intercollegiate and open competitions, Central and Western high school boys are to compete in the scholastic events, and Aloysius Club, Washington Canoe Club and possibly other local athletic institu- tions will take part in the meet. So far, eighty-four District runners, jumpers and weight men have sent in their entries, and more may be added to the list. Georgetown will have entrants in both the sectional intercollegiate and open contests. The Hilltoppers will send twenty-five men to Baltimore and most of them are slated for the south Atlantic college events. In seeking the title, Georgetown will have Le Gendre, Mertz and Osborne in the century; Henderson, Osborne, Lawrence and Malley in the hurdles; | Connolly, Fitzgerald and Hunter in| the mile, and Le Gendre, Sweeney, Goggin. Comstock and Maloney in tae shotput. The Blue and Gray will not over- look a chance to score points in open competition, however. Wertz and Gorman have been entered for the 100-yard dash; Werts, Sullivan, Mc- Solley and Hennessy for the fucrlong; Brewster, Walsh and Henneas§ for the half-mile; Shallow, King and Clifford for the quarter dash: Hunter for the mile, and Willlams and Ma- roney for the high jump.
