COVINGTON, Va., June 23.—The pro- ceedings of the democratic convention which began its sessions here yesterday for the purpose of nominating a candidate for the House of Representatives from the tenth district of Virginia, have, as fore- shadewed in The Star, been of the mast intensely interesting character. ‘The convention was in session all night, vy. for when not engaged in the of busiress its committees at work.
