Columbia Musical Parlors.—The past week has been a most successful one at the musical parlors of the Columbia Phono- graph Company, 919 Pennsylvania avenue. A goodly sized crowd had been present every night to hear the new records on the graphophones, and to see the new attrac- tions on the kinetoscopes. Some of the latest of these include a selection on the sraphophone, entitled “Beautiful Star Med- ley,” as sung by the famous Mozart Quar- tet, and a scene on the kinetoscope, in which two Roman gladiators are pictured in an exciting sword combat. The latter is very life-like, and many have been attract- ed by its blood-curdling naturalness. Many other records are pleasing the audiences, the program being changed daily. No ad- mission fee is charged. Benefit for Canton Potomac Field Band.— The Burnt Cork Club will give a testimonial benefit to the Canton Potomac (I.C -.) Field Band Monday evening next at Od] Fellows’ Hall, 7th street between D and E streets, at 8 o'clock.
