It is said in London that Lord Dunraven has decided to abandon yacht racing im the larger classes. The Field contains an article on the report of the Dunraven com- mittee, in which it confesses the impartial- ity of the ccrrmittee’s report from the evi- dence adduced, but thinks the strongest terms which ought to be applied to Lord Dunraven's charges is “not proven.” “Cer tainly,” the Field continues, “the general conclusion from a perusal of the evidence is that the case was not made out, and this was Impossible after such a lapse of time. ‘The one mtstake that Lord Dunraven made was in not making his protest in writing.
