Moody of Chicago claims to have documentary proof that a tract in the heart of Streator was granted to her rela- tives by the government over sixty years ago and “ae was never legally transferred ‘and e will bring suit for 11 recovery. The tract is worth $10,000, and consists of 160 acres, and upon it are located several banks, an opera house, city park and the prominent retail stores the city. Mrs. Moody says that the city council of Streator has offered her $250,000 for her claims, but that the offer was re- fused.
