L, Lewis. — > ROCKVILLE, In preparation for the fair in Septem- ber several horses are now being trained on the trotting course at the agricultural fair grounds, this place. Messrs. C. W. Fields and Wm, H, Rabbitt each have stables on the grounds and their horses are given daily exercise on the track. Within the next few weeks it is expected that a number of other stables will be taken on the grounds. Mr. Wm. Eastman, formerly of Savannah, Ga. a trainer, yesterday had one of hie arms broken while attending to one of the horses. The injury was inflicted by a kick from the animal.
