The Jury Thinks He Did Not Assault His Sister-in-Law. The trial of the Rev. Wilmot A. Carrington, the Presbyterian minister, ona charge of as- saulting Miss Ina C. Emery, his sister-in-law, because the latter made an attempt to kiss the infant child of her dead sister (the minister's wife), as stated in Saturday's Stam, was con- cluded in the Police Court. After the testi- mony was all in and the arguments closed Judge Miller charged the jury, instructing them | as to the Iaw in the case.
