Tho steamer River Quecn, which is to go on the route from Washington to Mount Vernon and Marshall Hall, will leave Woodall’s ship yard, Baltimore, for this city tomorrow. The steamer, which was purchased in New Bedford some months ago, was taken to Baltimore, where she has been completely overhauled, renovated, redecorated, fitted with ‘electric lights and otherwise transformed into a river boat of modern character. The improvements have cost about $16,000. The boat has a capacity of 1,200 passengers, Acomplete new outit of furniture and car- pets ig amonz the additional improvements to the vessel. The Kiver Queen is an historical ‘vessel, having conveyed President Lincoln and Secretary of Stato Seward to Hampton Roads, where on February 3, 1865, while on board. a conference was held with a view to the cessa- tion of hostilities, Alexander H. Stephens vice prosident of the confederacy, and R. M. T. Hunter of Virginia and Jobu A. Campbell of Alabama represented the southern cause.
