New Onteaxs, March 17.—The grand jury met this morning with all ite members present. Judge Marr presented the special charge given below on the riot, and the jury is now investi- gating and the leaders will probably be in- dicted. The following is the charge: “Since your last meeting New Orleans has bees the scene of a deplorable tragedy, which ter- | inated in the death of eleven persons, prisoners | iu the custody of the law, el with com- plicity in the assassination of David C.
