The Losses Reach Five Million and the Flames Still Raging. The awful conflagration which began in Stam- boul, Constantinople, Saturday continued its ravages yesterday morning with disastrous ef- feet. Ramors of an Elopement From a New Jersey Town. Lambertville, N.J., was treated to a sensation Monday. Mrs. Hunt, wife of Edward Hunt, and Mrs. Horten, wife of John Horten, left on the noon train, saying they would return inthe evening. They have not returned as yet. It has since been learned that they had no inten- tion of returning. as each had taken with her a large trunk filled with wearing apparel and each had about 860 in cash. Mrs. Hunt is the mother of four children, the youngest not yet six months old, all of whom she left behind.
