FOUR CONVICTED MURDERERS. Two of Them Under Sentence of Death— A Respite Expected. There are four prisoners in jail who have been convicted of mutder and in two of the cases the death sentence was imposed, the day of execution being now fixed, by the respite of the President, for May 2, but another respite is looked for. One case is that of the colored boy Lewis Williams, who, it is charged, killed x-Policeman W. C. Alder October 2, 1887, by striking him on the head with a brick near Benninge.
