It is a subject of general congratulation among the better class of people in Chicago that the anarchists have merged their passion for blood in a passion for beer. That is cer- tainly much less disturbing to the social order. The more beer the anarchists take in, the less blood, it is hoped, they will be disposed to let out; and perhaps the cheapest way for the au- thorities to deal with them would be to pay the expense of reducing them all to a state of coma by the geutlest and most seductive form of alco- holic narcotism, and keeping them in that con- 5c. quality 19c.
