To the Editor of Tux Evestxe Stan: ‘The discussion in Tuz Star relative to the Proper use of the term Templar suggests an- other familiar term, the use of which seems somewhat “mixed.” A dozen commanderies bear the name of the last of the military grand masters. As indicated by the name Jacques De Molai was a Frenchman. Angli- cized the name is James De Molay and most commanderies bear simply the surname De Molay. The only one in this country retaining the French form, DeMolai, is in New Orleans. One commanders, however, is named Jacjues DeMolay—Freuch and English; aad another is James DeMolai—English and French.
