Chief Justice Fuller's butler is in the Van Wyck house, No. 1800 Massachusetts avenne, making it ready for the arrival of the family from Chicago, who are expected here the first of next week. The principal change being made in the house at present is the arrange ment of temporary additional book shelves for the accommodation of the Chief Justice’s volumes. The house is furnished as it was when the family of Representative Darlington were there last year and intertained so hand- somely. Miss Fuller, who returned from Germany in the summer so with fever, is with the fami will come on with them here, pects to re- turn to Berlin as soon as her health is bron re- stored. A beautiful white marble bust of Mrs. Cleve- land upon a pedestal of black and white mar- ble is at present occupying a corner of Mrs, Wilson's drawing room. It was left in the ex- marsbal’s charge when Mr. Cleveland went to New York. The bust is life size and is the work of G. Sea: Genoa, and bears date 1885. It was made from _ impressions taken when as Miss Folsom she traveled in Europe. The marble represents the head and shoulders, showing the chest midway. The hair is dressed in the style that is now most familiar to the public as that worn in the photographs extant of this popular young lady of the White House, in a coil on the top of the head, with large curls about the fore- head and smaller ones about the nape of the neck. The features are idealized and the form is slight. The drapery is a knitted undergarment made with a square opening at the neck, edged with Hamburg trimming, and a kuitted shawl falling from the shoulders in a roll forms the ede of the bust. The statuary will be sent to Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland as soon as ther are located in their Madison-avenue house, near 69th street, New York city. Ex-Minister and Mrs. Jno. W.
