This morning Wm. Churchill and John Jack- son were in the Police Court, charged with em affray, and the case was contizued until Tues- day next. Jackson was a witness in the Police Court yesterday against a woman. Churchill, a friend of the woman, was angered and weat after Jackson, and encountered him on Half, near M, yesterday. It is alleged that atter words had Jackson pulled a pistol urchill, who wrested it from him; that Jackson got another pistol and fired one shot, and that then Churchill fired, the shot taking effect in Jackson's chin. Churchill went to Dr. . Winter’s, where the wound was dressed. Both parties were arrested. A Child Run Over by a Wagon.
