Tue members of the verein assembled this morning before 10 o'clock at Edel’s Ou E street. They were in holiday attire, and Wore the wide-brim hats of the Schuetzen, with gold tassels and plumes. A broad ybadge of red Douquet added to the festive appearance of the costumes. Long lines of carriages adorned with American flags and bunting were soon formed tn the street, aud gully decked marshals dashed up and down’ witi all the earnestness of such officials on occasions of this character. ‘There was a stir and bustle among the groups of Germans that de- hoved great iaterest in the festival.
