R. ‘Turnbull, November 25, 1882, was continued in the Criminal Court yesterday after Tae Star's re Port closed, and the defendant proceeded with his Story. After relating nis diMculties with Wilmott and speaking of letters written by Wilmott attack~ ing his character, the witness stated that he came here November 25 to get a retraction. Witness called at Wilmott's house, but failed to see him the first time, and had a talk with Mr. Heller in the store on the ground floor of the house, Heller sald that Wilmott was a bad and dangerous man and alway carried a pistol after hearing the ‘statements made by Heller the witness went back to the hotel, took his Placed tin his hip pocket, and returned to Heller's store.
