RUSSIA RESENTS THE LONDON “POST'S” WARNING TO TURKEY. ‘The Journal de St. Petershourg, comment- ing on the inspired article in last Monday's London Post warning Turkey against coquet- ting any further with Russia, says: “The in- spirers of the Post chose a moment to utter their threats of war when all the European cabi- nets were conscientiously secking to reconcile the divergent interests which the Bulgarian cri. sis hus created, and when Turkey and Russia had agreed upon a solution reconciling their interests in conformity with the Berifn treaty. We reserve Judgment on the question whether the general tendency toward conclifation has upset certain calculations, If the article in the Post some other and ulterior object, the powers who reprove tbrand policy ought to affirm their resolution to preserve the peace and should act firmly against any attempt to intimt. date Turkey. We hope the powers wfll. not fall to doo, ‘The Sultan should be advised that wo long as he seeks conciliation and peace he will tin powerful sympathies and energetic support.” = acral Lovers Die Together.
