A JUDGMENT AGAINST THE B. AND 0. COM- PANY REVERSED. The Court in General Term to-day reversed the judgment for 210,000 given in the court below In the ease of Paul Jones against the B. and O, railroad company for damages sustained in having an arm broken December 10th, 1881, and for other injuries. The case was remanded. Jones wanted to go to Gaithersburg, but was di- rected by a railroad employe to a train bound for Baltimore. When he was told bis mistake he jumped from the train and broke bis arm. Judge James in delivering the opinion of the court said the company would have been re- sponsible if the accident had oceurred as the train was approaching a station, when it was customary to slow up and let the off, but he did not think it could be held res] sible in sueh a ease as this.
