To-day, inthe Criminal Court, Mr. Moulton, counsel for Daniel Carrigan, filed pleas in abate- Ment in five of the cases against Daniel Carri- gan for presenting false vouchers to the bureau of medicine and surgery, Navy department. Mr. Worthington filed demurrers thereto, and the court sustained them. ‘The court inquired as to trying some of the cases before warm weather, and the district at- torney said some of them would be called on Monday next, and he hoped to go right along with them. In the cases against John W. Drew, Mr. C.8, Moore filed demurrers to the indictments, al- leging that they did not charge a specific of a fense. BURGLARS ConvIcTED.—Wm.
