After THe Star's report of the trial of Frank Langston, Indicted for the murder of James Spen- cer, was closed yesterday, Isaac F. Norman, col- ored, an employe of the Treasury department, testifled that two or three days after the shooting Dennis Williams told him that he was coming up 1th street and saw twomen fighting. Willams sald at first he did not know it was Langston who did the firing, and that he was so close the powder burned his face. Howard Gordon testified that three or four days after the shooting he met Dennis Williams, who told him that he got nto the trouble by trring to part the men, and Langston told him to let them alone. Williams said, “What you got todo with tz" and went toward Langsten, when he pulled tne a land fired. Armstead Turner testified that after the court | adjourned last Monday he heard Wlillams sa I was golng to tell the truth and hang Frank Lang- ston if I could.” Capt. O. S.
